Khalsa Jatha British Isles

About

The Central Gurdwara in London: our mission, our committee and the Hazoori Jatha.

Our Gurdwara

Khalsa Jatha British Isles is the Central Gurdwara in London. It was established in 1908, the first Gurdwara in Europe, and the same Jatha has served the Sangat ever since: from Putney, to Sinclair Road in Shepherd's Bush, and since 1969 at Queensdale Road.

The building has a refurbished Darbar Hall for prayer and Kirtan, a Langar Hall where free meals are served to everyone who visits, a library, and rooms for the Punjabi school, workshops and community groups. Whether you are a Sikh, someone curious about the faith, or a friend from another tradition, you are welcome here.
