Privacy notice
What this website collects, the services it uses, and your rights.
This notice explains what happens to your information when you use khalsajatha.com. It covers the website only. The Gurdwara's wider privacy policy, covering membership, bookings and other records, is on the policies page.
What this site collects
This website has no accounts, no forms of its own and sets no cookies of its own. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies or fingerprinting and does not track you across other sites; it records the page visited, the referring site, the browser and country, in aggregate. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes the technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, for security and performance.
Services from other organisations
Some pages include content from other organisations, or link to them. When you use these, their privacy policies apply.
- YouTube. The home page embeds our latest video from YouTube using YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which does not set cookies until you press play. Playing a video connects you to YouTube (Google).
- Google Calendar. The events calendar on the programme page and the home page is an embedded Google Calendar. Loading it connects you to Google.
- Google Forms and Google Drive. The volunteer sign-up form is a Google Form, and the membership form is on Google Drive. Information you enter in the form is sent to Google and received by the Gurdwara office.
- Enthuse. Donations, matrimonial registration and Punjabi school registration are handled on Enthuse, a payments platform for UK charities. Your details are collected by Enthuse and shared with the Gurdwara.
- Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, X. Links only; nothing loads from them until you follow the link.
