Selfless service

Seva

Langar, hot meals for the community, health camps, environmental work and support for the vulnerable. No experience needed.

Seva, selfless service, is at the heart of Sikhi. Guru Nanak Dev Ji taught that serving others is serving the Divine, and a Gurdwara runs on it: the Langar is cooked, served and cleared by volunteers, and so is almost everything else. You do not need experience, and you do not need to be a Sikh.
